Jackie Chan wants to work alone with Sylvester Stallone

There may be a chance for Jackie Chan to appear on Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables" franchise. That is, if the actor-turned-director would give him a meatier role in the movie.
In an interview with Den of Geek, the actor revealed that he had been talking with the "Rambo" star about starring in the movie for a long time but was not keen on appearing just for the sake of it.
"They already asked me to be in [The Expendables] two and three but I refused," said Jackie.
He then corrected his statement, saying it was not a direct refusal. Jackie said that he asked Stallone to do it together, just the two of them, instead of working with too many actors that will only have him end up with very little screen time.
The "Expendables" franchise is known for its ensemble cast and gathering of action stars in the likes of Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes and Stallone himself. Thus, it's inevitable for some to get the short end of the stick.
Meanwhile, the actor also revealed that he is currently in talks to appear in several other sequels and franchises, including "Karate Kid II", "CZ12 II" as well as his popular "Shanghai Noon" and "Rush Hour" movies.
